Ola Inez Wingate

Ola Inez Wingate, 93, of Flovilla, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at her home.

Mrs. Wingate was born November 25, 1919 in Worth County to the late Robert Lee Busbin and the late Annie Henry Busbin.

Mrs. Wingate was the oldest living member of Flovilla Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Warren Wingate; daughter, Carolyn Grace Wingate; and grandson, James Gregory Wingate.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and Bonnie Wingate of Monticello, Melvin E. and Gigi Wingate of Suwanee, Warren Jarry and Amelia Wingate of Flovilla; grandchildren, Scott Wingate and Richard Wingate; great-grandchildren, Jamus Wingate, Alex Wingate, Rileigh Wingate, and Addie Wise.

Also, sister, Peggy Burke of Ocilla; and Patricia Owen of Irwinville; brothers, Robert Busbin of Tifton, and Bill Busbin of Ocilla; and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held Friday, Dec. 21 at 10 a.m. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Neil Walls and Rev. Lane Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Moultrie at 4 p.m.
