Debbie Amerson Wease

Debbie Amerson Wease, 50, died Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at The Retreat Nursing Home after an extended illness.

Mrs. Wease was born in Swainsboro, to the late Franky Amerson and Louise Wilcher Amerson. She was a graduate of Monticello High School. She loved decorating for the holidays, flowers, and working in her garden.

She is survived by her husband, David Eugene Wease of Monticello; children and son-in-law, Stephanie and Justin Walberg of Covington, and D.J. Wease of Monticello; stepchildren and spouses, Frankie and Amy Langford, Mindy Wease, and Christopher Wease of Trenton, Fla.; 13 step-grandchildren; sister, Deborah Hall of Wrightsville; and brother, Franky “Bud” Amerson of Wrightsville.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Pastor Sammy Hall will officiate.
