FLAG CEREMONY

Last week the local chapter of the American Legion gave a new flag to the Jasper County Senior Center and made a special presentation by having the Honor Guard raise the flag.

Those taking part in the ceremony include (left to right) Fred Paul, commander; Sidney Jackson, Billy Johnson, Jeff Howe, Donald Cook (Woodmen of the World Insurance, donator of the flag), Dan Cleveland, Bob Brill, Bill Zaluska, and Les Steele played the music. Trooper, the dog, also posed for the photo.

The Seniors enjoyed the ceremony and thanked all those responsible for getting them a new flag.
