JV Canes Get Ready for Busy Week

The JV ’Canes baseball team opened their season with a 13-6 loss vs. Mogan County at home.

Tyler Seawright and Trevor Clement each did well on the mound for the ’Canes and Julius Matchett had a good day at the plate.

The JV team is gearing up for a busy week as they were set to begin a five game schedule in the next week, with the game versus Putnam for yesterday, March 13, postponed. They are scheduled to play Strong Rock at home, Friday, March 15 at 5 p.m., play at Morgan Monday, March 18, at 5 p.m.; travel to Putnam Wednesday, March 20 at 4:30 p.m. and finally end next Thursday, March 21 in Locust Grove against Strong Rock at 4:30 p.m.

The JV ’Canes are coached by Matt Riden.
