SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP

Piedmont Senior Hailey Burnham (seated, center) signed to play softball with Gordon State College next season. Miss Burnham is the daughter of Carl Burnham and Stephanie Burnham of Conyers.

Joining her for the signing also were Piedmont Headmaster Tony Tanner, Coach Dan Funt, sister, Madison Burnham, and Coach Danny Camp. Hailey Burnham has a .495 batting average and last year alone made 11 doubles, three triples, seven home runs, and 50 RBI.

Her high school career boasted 200 RBIs along with outstanding academics and leadership skills, said the coach.
