SPRING ARRIVES

Spring officially arrived yesterday, March 20, but not before a hailstorm struck much of the county Monday evening. People in various parts of the county reported hailstones, some as big as golf balls, hitting their homes.
But, the severe thunderstorms caused little damage, with the only damage being reported to the 911 center was that of a tree down on Hillsboro Street between Eatonton and Washington Streets. Meanwhile, Tuesday dawned clear and spring-like, and the budding blossoms herald the season. This week’s mystery photo is the top one here.
And, it’s not a where is it, but what is it.
The weatherman’s predictions for the coming weekend did not sound promising, but nonetheless, spring is here.
