Danny Herring

Danny Herring, 55, of Newborn, died October 13, 2013.

Mr. Herring enjoyed watching horse races, riding his Harley, and was always ready to smoke meats to serve a crowd. He was an exceptional pool player, but above all, he cherished his time with his children. Mr. Herring was a man of faith, and loved serving and guiding in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Danielle Herring.

Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Kimberly (Kennedy) Herring; children and their spouses, Shane Carroll, Rory and Dayna Bowen, Paul and Leah Campbell, Kasey and R.J. Brooks; grandchildren, Nolan Carroll, Lincoln Campbell, Abigail Bowen; parents, Bobby and Kitty (McRay) Herring; sister and brother-in-law, Nan and Curtis Lynch; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Lisa Herring; nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Herring were to be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m., at Eastridge Community Church, 863 Highway 142 E, in Covington, with Pastor Jeff Davis officiating, and interment followed in Newborn Memorial Cemetery.
