Deer Festival Queen, Little Miss Fawn Pageants Held

Isabel White (second from left) was named Little Miss Fawn at the conclusion of the pageant held Sunday at Jasper County High School.

First runner-up was Adrienne Jeffries; second runner-up was Krista Leigh Steele, and third runner-up was Skylar Michelle Farley.

Prizes were given for special, optional categories, meaning some of the girls entered them and some may not have. Little Miss White won the award for prettiest eyes, while Miss Steele had the prettiest smile. Haven Cannon was deemed to have the prettiest hair, and Abby Moore had the prettiest dress.

Also on Sunday, the Deer Festival court was named. Those ladies are Starr Batchelor, Tiara Berg, Cassidy Brown, Cheyenne Gray, Jade Massey and India Falon Rockmore. The Deer Festival Queen will not be named until the Deer Festival, on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Optional category winners for the queen contestants included Cassidy Brown who was named Most Congenial; India Falon Rockmore, most poised; Cheyenne Gray, prettiest eyes, and Starr Batchelor, prettiest smile.

The queen will be named at the Deer Festival and she and her court will ride on a float in the parade as will Little Miss Fawn.
