Several Are Sentenced in Court Monday
Nicholas M. Hall was back in Superior Court Monday, with Judge E. Trenton Brown, III, presiding. Mr. Hall had previously pled guilty to three counts of burglary at three different residences on Lakeshore Drive, and was sentenced in August of 2008 to 10 years with three to serve and banished from Jasper County.
After his release on probation, Mr. Hall was found to have violated his probation by the charges of disorderly conduct, appearing in Jasper County and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees, and was sentenced to 120 days confinement in November of 2012.
After being released from this sentence and while serving on probation once again, Mr. Hall was found to have once again violated his probation via the new charges of entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony or theft in Butts County.
On Tuesday, Mr. Hall’s probation was revoked to two years in the state penal system, with credit for time served since March 22, 2013, and upon release to once again be placed on regular probation supervision as originally ordered.
Also in court Monday, Rachel Martin, who was on probation for giving false information to authorities, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges of aggravated battery and simple battery. Ms. Martin was sentenced to serve 90 days in a probation detention center and to have no contact with the victim.
