Rochelee ‘Judy’ Richardson
Rochelee “Judy” Richardson died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, surrounded by her family and friends.
She was born May 25, 1940 in Toccoa. She graduated from Toccoa Falls Institute in 1958. Mrs. Richardson was a proud mother and grandmother and doted on her two sons and grandsons. She was a humble and kind person with a giving spirit.
She attended Trinity Praise Center, in Mansfield, where she enjoyed making cookies for the youth. She loved her friends and enjoyed sharing her delicious baked goods with them all. She enjoyed planting flowers and watching them grow. She also enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends at Kroger. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Richardson; parents, Hugh and Ruby Simpson; brother, Harrison Simpson.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Richardson of Mansfield and Brian Richardson of Covington; grandsons, Zach Richardson, Jacob Richardson, both of Covington; sisters, Wanda Simpson, Theresa Simpson, Brenda Manns and her husband, Roy; brothers, Grady Simpson and his wife, Karen, Russell Simpson, all of Toccoa; numerous inlaws, nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Richardson were to be held Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at 2 p.m., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Pastors Rick Jackson and Tim Taylor were to officiate, and interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
