Burglaries Are Reported

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) reported the following two burglaries during the past week:

On December 2 a resident on Ersking Drive reported a forced entry into the home and the theft of two items of Harley Davidson attire, a Snap On tool box on wheels and various other hand tools, wrenches and sockets.

On November 30 a hunting club on Cook Road reported the theft of approximately 45 gallons of gas from a mobile camper.

Also, during the period of November 27 through December 3 the JCSO reported the following arrests:

Mary Ashley Brown, 25, Conyers—hold for warrant in Rockdale County.

Jessica Shae Sprayberry, 25, Cumming—Jasper County Superior Court Bench Warrant and probation violation.

Marcus Mandrell Campbell, 32, Monticello—probation violation.

Rodney Keith Bridges, 46, Shady Dale—parole violation.

William Boyd Black, 69, Mansfield—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

Justin Adam Wright, 32, Monticello—interfering with a 911 call.

Rhonda Dantelle Moubray, 24, Covington—hold for warrant at Monroe Police Department.

Terry Steven Bagwell, 57, Snellville—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.

During this same period deputies with the JCSO responded to 96 calls for service including 22 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, nine mechanical breakdown, seven alarm, five each accident and pick up prisoner/subject, four each domestic and subject needs officer, three each speeding auto, intoxicated pedestrian, escort or convoy, threatening/harassing calls and checking location.

Also, two each dog disturbance, assist motorist, theft by taking and argument, one each burglary, livestock on road, fire, improperly parked vehicles, chest pain, dead deer on road, assist invalid, deliver emergency message, juvenile complaint, discharge firearms, private property, music/noise complaint, road hazard, abandoned vehicle and 911 hang up.

The Monticello Police Department (MPD) did not report any arrests for the above mentioned period, however officers with the MPD responded to 38 calls for service including 11 stopping suspicious person/vehicle, six escort or convoy, three alarm, two each assist motorist, theft by taking, miscellaneous ems, road hazard and argument, one each dog disturbance, accident, hit and run, mechanical break down, subject needs officer, juvenile complaint, 911 hang up and seizure.

Also during this period the Georgia State Patrol reported the arrest in Jasper County of Hillary Brannen Durr, 21, of Athens, and charged her with speeding and driving while license suspended or revoked.
