Kelvin Bernard “Nard” Freeman

Kelvin Bernard “Nard” Freeman was born on October 2, 1975 in Madison. He received his education from the Jasper County School System in Monticello.

Later, he received a degree in phlebotomy and became a Medical Assistant. “Nard,” as he was affectionately known, was employed with Primecare Company until his health failed.

He died on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Newton Medical Center in Covington.

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his father, Willie James Freeman, grandmother, Ruth Rolle and uncle, Arthur Lee Rolle.

“Nard” will always be remembered in the hearts of his mother, Mary Gude of Hillsboro; step-father, James Gude of Shady Dale; grandmother, Mamie Bell Williams of Shady Dale; two sisters, Kia Gude Bostic (Justin) of Monticello and Lashawnda J. Freeman of Covington; a step-brother, Antonio Gude of Sierra Vista, Arizona and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
