‘Canes Soccer Ladies Win

Hurricane soccer kicked into action last week with the Lady Canes earning their first region win during their first region competition.

The Lady Canes defeated Macon County 8-0 last Tuesday for their first win of the season which was a region win. The team, coached by Amanda Paulk, suffered two previous losses to Jones and Baldwin earlier in the week. They fell to Jones 9-1 on Monday and Baldwin 3-1 on Tuesday.

The squad was scheduled to travel to GMC Tuesday. Their first home match of the season will be Friday, March 7 against Bleckley Co. at Rose Bowl Field beginning at 5:30 p.m.
