SOFTBALL SCHOLARSHIP

Taylor Garrett, a graduating senior at Jasper County High School, signed a letter of intent Tuesday morning to attend Georgia Perimeter College at the Newton County Campus. She was offered a two-year full scholarship to play softball for the college.

The signing was attended by her parents Scott and Laura Garrett, grandmothers (seated left) Willa Mae Garrett and (right) Mary Ferguson. Also, Taylor’s aunt, Kathy Maxey, and Taylor’s brother, Ty. JCHS Principal Robyn Mullis and Athletic Director Chris Jenkins were also present for the event.
