Burglaries Reported Throughout County

Several burglaries were reported over the past week, with two of them at Edwards Mobile Home Park on Wyatt Road where two individuals reported medications were stolen.

Drugs were also taken from a residence on Jackson lake Road. And, a surveillance camera was taken from the Turtle Cove Clubhouse.

Other thefts reported included numerous items stolen from a pick-up truck in Turtle Cove. More than $2,000 worth of tools, along with guns, and other items were reported taken.

Three other thefts were also reported…that of a Stihl weed eater from a residence on Hwy. 142; an I-Pod was taken from an address on Anna Claire Court, and a stove was reported missing from an address on Hwy. 142. The previous tenant of that house is the likely suspect.

Also during the last week, numerous persons were arrested on various charges. They include:

•Jason Eugene Abercrombie, 35, Monticello—theft by receiving stolen property (three counts).

•Kristin Nicole Keith, 29, Monticello—probation violation.

•Jimmy Lee Jackson, 50, Monticello—possession of drug related objects, possession of cocaine and probation violation.

•David Lee Cargile, 56, Monticello—public drunkenness.

•Rodney Vernard Rooks, 45, Monticello—obstruction of an officer, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and tampering with evidence.

•Gary Byrd, 54, Monticello—driving without license, no proof of insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.

•Johnathan Andre Sims, 17, Monticello—battery.

•Allyssa Joy Haskew, 20, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts and disorderly conduct.

•Albert Darnell Brown, 33, Athens—probation violation.

•Octavious Sharod Pennamon, 19, Monticello—hold for warrant in Rockdale County.

•Lisa Dianne McCullough, 37, Covington—possession of methamphetamine.

•Dana Gail Christian, 37, Monticello—probation violation.

•Joshua Deimon Davis, 22, Monticello—probation violation.

•Rodney Andrew Snow, 47, Hillsboro—probation violation.

Gregory Deonte Norwood, 20, Monticello—probation violation.
