Three Have Probation Revoked
Motion day action was light Tuesday in Jasper County Superior Court. Judge William A. Prior presided over three probation revocation cases including:
•Steven Brownlee for committing new offense of obstructing and officer and public indecency. He is to serve 60 days in confinement and revert back to probation supervision.
•Tony Thurman for new charges in April including theft by shoplifting and obstruction of an officer. He will have to spend three consecutive weekends in confinement and serve 40 hours of community service.
•Quentin Mitchell for new offense of obstruction of an officer and being in arrears on probation fees. He shall serve 30 days in confinement and pay $550 within 60 days or serve another 60 days in confinement.
David Jason Greene probation’s case was continued. Judge Prior also reviewed eight divorce cases, two temporary protective order cases, one magistrate court appeal and several child support cases.
