Probation Revocation Hearings Held

Business was light and brisk for Tuesday’s motion day calendar cases in Jasper County Superior Court.

Judge William Prior, Jr. presided over five probation revocation cases:

Laura Jean Ramey, failed to make consistent probation payments. She must pay $1,000 within 60 days or spend 60 days in confinement.

William Howard McNerney, III, failed to report to Conyers probation office in March for administrative hearing and has failed to make probation payments. He has 60 days to pay $750 or serve 180 in confinement which was suspended upon entry into a probation detention center for 60-90 days.

David Allen Smith, tested positive for THC and opiates at Eatonton probation on September 3 while admitting to such and failed to make consistent payments. He shall serve 90 days in confinement and suspended upon payment of $1,236.

Wayne Ellis Mask, tested positive and admitted to use of THC and methamphetamine also failed to report to Covington probation office twice in April, and failed to perform community service. He shall serve 90 days in confinement.

Judge Prior continued two cases, one probation and one adoption, rescheduled a divorce hearing and presided over a magistrate court appeal hearing.
