AG BARN

The Monticello – Jasper County Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting at the new ag barn at Jasper County High School, 14477 Hwy. 11 North last Friday, and members of the student body, faculty, FFA alumni, school board, and FFA officers took part, making for a full “barn.”

Providing an outdoor classroom space for students and a place to raise livestock, the Ag Barn is the high school’s newest facility. The Chamber of Commerce and Jasper County Schools hosted the ribbon cutting to celebrate all the work put in by students, faculty and staff, including Ag Mechanics teacher and FFA Adviser Robert Cobb and Jasper County Schools Head of Maintenance and Facilities Perry Hyde.
