Probation Is Revoked for Several

Judge Hugh Wingfield, III, reviewed some 15 probation cases during Tuesday’s motion day in Jasper Superior Court.

More than half of the cases were continued but the following probation revocations were issued by the judge:

Michael Greenway—revoked for failure to report to probation offices in Jasper and Putnam counties. He was sentenced to eight months in jail with credit for time served.

Taleisha Moore—revoked for failure to make regular payments. She was ordered to pay within 60 days or serve 60 days in jail.

Donovan Sands—revoked for positive drug test, failure to report to probation office, failure to attend administrative hearing, failure to make payments, failure to obtain substance abuse evaluation, and failure to report address change. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail which was suspended upon entry into probation detention center for 120-180 days.

Adam Phillips—revoked for failure to report address change, failure to make curfew, failure to perform community service, failure to obtain substance abuse evalulation, and is currently in arrears on payments. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail with suspension upon entry into probation detention center for 60-90 days.

Ryan Landreth, entered a lesser plea of disorderly conduct to an original charge of battery, family violence. He was sentenced to 12 months probation and fined $300.

Rodney Rooks faced two pending cases including the sale of marijuana. He pled guilty, was sentenced to five years probation, and fined $1,000. On the case, he pled guilty to obstruction of an officer, possession of marijuana, and tampering with evidence. He was again sentenced to five years, 12 months, and 12 months probation which will run concurrently and fined another $1,000.
