Deputies Take Reports of Thefts

Jasper County deputies responded to eight reports of thefts during the last week, with the stolen goods ranging from a zero-turn mower to a cellular phone.

The mower as reportedly taken from an address just north of Monticello, and a go-cart was taken from a home at the lake.

Numerous tools were reported stolen from an address east of Monticello. A cell phone and cash were taken from an individual in Monticello. Another cell phone was reportedly taken from a turtle Cove address.

A wallet was taken from an address in Monticello, and a bow was shoplifted from Larry’s 4-Way. In addition, one resident reported medicine was missing from her home.

•Rorqual Wynette Harps, 24, Griffin—fishing without wildlife management license in public area, fishing without a license, fleeing and attempting to elude and obstruction of an officer.

•Francis Godfrey Leverette, 46, Monticello—child support and probation violation.

•Charles Fredrick Willis, 52, Monticello—child support.

•Toney Lee Thurman, 51, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Cody Layne Ward, 17, Mansfield—disorderly conduct.

•Maylon Joseph Wages, 44, Monticello—simple battery, obstruction of an officer and terroristic threats and acts.

•Andy Dwayne Hewatt, 37, Monticello—public drunkenness.

•Emmitt Ellis Freeman, 35, Lithonia—possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

•Adrian Adonis Battle, 33, Newborn—loitering or prowling.

•Larandy Steven Gotel, 32, Monticello—probation violation and criminal trespass.

•Tonya Marie Blanton, 37, Monticello—hold for a warrant in Monroe Co.

•Michael Oneal Lyons, 48, Shady Dale—probation violation and disorderly conduct.

•Paul Ross Beebe, 68, Monticello—probation violation, seat belt violation and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs less safe.
