Baby Kaceion Whidby

Kaceion Dion “Toodah” Whidby, the treasured son of Katrina D. Whidby and Octerius Whidby, was born on July 29, 2014. He weighed six pounds, five ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.

From the very day he was born, Kaceion began to smile and spread sunshine to all who came in contact with him. He was the perfect baby who rarely cried. Kaceion blessed his family every hour of every day.

Baby Whidby died November 28, 2014. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 3, at St. John C.M.E. Church in Monticello. Rev. Dr. Lavonia K. McIntyre, pastor, officiated.

Kaceion Dion Whidby is deeply loved by his mother, Katrina D. Whidby, father, Octerius Whidby; big brothers, Kaidon D. Whidby and Kemaryon D. Whidby; big sister, Kortlin D. Whidby; grandparents, Barbara Whidby, Theodore Thurman, Vlanda Whidby and Tony Whidby; aunt, Tamara Benton, Tyiesha Whidby, Jeree Thurman, Tedra Thurman, Rhonda Griffin; uncle, Syderrius Whidby and Demetrius Griffin; godparents, Erica and James Lawrence.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
