Jeff Gohlke

Jeff Gohlke, of Vinings, died January 31, 2015, at the age of 25. Jeff was a 2011 graduate of the University of Georgia.

As an artist, he enjoyed writing both stories and poems and had a love for music. Jeff had a passion for animals, and will be remembered for his wit and intelligence, but mostly for his smile and big heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his parents, Dina Gohlke and Greg Hartley of Shady Dale; maternal grandmother, Kiki Lymberopoulos of Tarpon Springs, FL; paternal grandparents, Marlin and Betty Hartley of Box Springs; aunts, Maria Lymberopoulos, Brenda Sizelove; uncles, Emmanuel Lymberopoulos, Mike Hartley, Matt Hartley; cousins, Megan Hartley, James Hartley; biological father, Jeff Gohlke of China; biological grandmother, Jeane Gohlke of Port Charlotte, FL; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Jeff were held Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Father John Stefero officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
