Few Are Arrested this Week
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office reported few arrests this week, with it being a relatively quiet week for crime.
Those booked into the Detention Center include:
•Andrew Jackson Reid, 33, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Walter Mead Carter, 62, Monticello—public drunkenness, loitering or prowling and obstruction of an officer.
•Keyshawn Ramon Jackson, 19, Covington—failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Antonio Dewayne Dumas, 34, Monticello—obstruction of an officer (two counts), child support and pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Jason Gregory Chambers, 48, Covington—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
•Richard Lee Williams, 23, Newborn—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Stanley Keith Davis, 32, Decatur—failure to appear child support.
•Michael Drake Smith, 21, Hillsboro—hold for warrant in Douglas Co.
