Incidents Are Investigated
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office have investigated numerous incidents in the last week, including two cases of identity fraud, a financial transaction card fraud, and a report of counterfeit money.
Other reports included two theft by taking cases, and a burglary where a home was broken into but the only thing taken was a security camera, as well as a burglary where several items were taken.
A criminal trespass complaint was lodged, and the alleged perpetrator arrested.
Persons arrested in the last week include:
•Noah Austin Hyde, 21, Covington—probation violation.
•Joshua Jamal Hendricks, 19, Monticello—obstruction of an officer and pedestrian must walk on sidewalk if provided.
•Quenton Bryan Slappy, 28, Eatonton—probation violation.
•Kasey Nicole York, 24, Cobb—aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children third degree, reckless conduct and discharge of gun or pistol near a public street.
•Willie Lee McGuire, III, 25, Monticello—probation violation.
•James Roy Grindle, 36, Monroe—probation violation.
•Larry Little, Sr., 51, Atlanta—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Carlos Oneal Norris, 38, Locust Grove—loitering or prowling, open container of alcohol and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Jackson Brently Cummings, 17, Monticello—speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Maria Jimena Maddox, 45, Newborn—simple assault and cruelty to children third degree.
•Timothy John Mannor, 57, Monticello—theft by taking, probation violation and parole violation.
•Shirley Jean Suttles, 55, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Jorda Jontavious Clements, 24, Monticello—probation violation.
