Bust Nets Drugs, Guns, Cash

Last Friday, April 10, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office conducted a drug search warrant operation at 50 Bunting Court in Turtle Cove.
The Sheriff’s Office has been conducting an investigation into the location for more than two months. After searching the residence, significant amounts of numerous illegal drugs and two handguns were located.
Anthony Joshua Flynn, 28, of that location and Robin Maryann Cobb, 29, of Covington were arrested at the scene and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Each of them were charged with three counts of sale of methamphetamine, and one count each of possession of schedule 1 with intent to distribute, manufacture of a schedule 1 substance, possession of schedule 2 (hydrocodone) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule 2 (Adderall) with intent to distribute, possession of schedule 4 (alprazolam) with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine and theft by receiving stolen firearm.
The pair was in jail without bond this week.
Also during the last week, officers with the JCSO took three separate complaints of identity fraud, as well as two reports of theft by taking…both in the city—one on Hillsboro Street, and the other on Marshall Drive. Persons booked into the Jasper County Detention Center in the last week, in addition to Mr. Flynn and Ms. Cobb, include:

•Henry Edward Mays, 61, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to maintain lane and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Kenneth Darnell James, 49, Monticello—burglary.
•Jason Delloyed McCall, 45, Flovilla—driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Kelly James Olson, Jr., 19, Covington—driving while license suspended or revoked, registration or license violation, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and no insurance.
•Christian Blair Mason, 27, Mansfield—possession of drug related objects, littering and driving on limited permit violation.
•Marvis Armel Wyman, 34, Monticello—public drunkenness, simple assault, disorderly conduct and probation violation (two counts).
•Jennifer Michelle Poore, 30, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine; purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, sale of marijuana; and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
•Jessica Marie Poling, 33, Auburn—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Justin Cooper Singletary, 29, Monticello—probation violation, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of drug related objects.
Also, during the last week, deputies responded to 419 calls for service, including 160 checking location, 83 stopping suspicious person or vehicle, 23 subject needs officer, 14 alarms, 13 accidents, 12 escort or convoy, and 11 trouble unknown.
Also, seven mechanical breakdown, six threatening or harassing calls, five each four-wheeler complaint, vandalism of property, livestock/carcass on road and argument; four each assist motorist, VIN verification, and road hazard, and three each domestic dispute, pick-up prisoner/subject, welfare check, trespassing, violation of the Georgia controlled substances act, and identity fraud/theft, and numerous other calls for various complaints.
