Golfers To Compete at Region

Piedmont Academy’s golf team will compete at the region tournament today, April 23 in Sandersville.

Region was initially set for Monday but was postponed due to weather conditions. The competition will be at Twin City Country Club.

The Cougars defeated Loganville Christian Academy 204-205 in their final match of the regular season earlier this month.

Payden Cantera was the low medalist with a round of 46 while P.J. Leonetti finished with a score of 47. In addition, Chandler Burrell fired a 50 while Preston Tyler finished the match with a round of 59.
