Bobby Dennis Kelly
Bobby Dennis Kelly, age 71, of Columbia, South Carolina, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
Bobby Kelly was born in Monticello, to the late John Ben Kelly, Sr., and Willa Mae Slappey Kelly. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
Bobby graduated with a degree in Computer Science from DeKalb Technical College. He worked as a computer programmer for Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, John Ben, Jr. and Liz Kelly of Americus, and James R. “Jimmy” and Marsha Kelly of Monticello; nephews and niece, John Ben, III, and Laureen Kelly of Albany, Mark and Jill Kelly of Flowery Branch, Chris Kelly of McDonough, Scott and Stephanie Kelly of Monticello, Brian Kelly of Marietta, and Amy and Carl Cansino of Milledgeville; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 26, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery in Mansfield. Rev. Charles Roper will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be the nephews, John Ben Kelly, III, Mark Kelly, Chris Kelly, Scott Kelly, Brian Kelly and Carl Cansino.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations to Prospect United Methodist Church or Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Jan Williams, 84 Barnes Mountain Road, Mansfield, Georgia 30055; or to the charity of one’s choice.
