Local Trackster To Travel to Australia

Denzel Sands of Monticello has been offered the opportunity to compete in the Down Under Sports Tournament in Australia as a member of the East Conference Cross Country Team.

Mr. Sands, a Jasper County High School junior with a 3.75 grade point average and a standout track athlete, is seeking financial assistance to help with the cost of the trip.

“This travel is going to be expensive and may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for this talented young man,” said Mr. Sands’ announcement.
