Several Are Arrested Here

Jasper County deputies responded to four reports of theft by taking in the last week —three in the area of Jackson Lake, and one in Hillsboro.

They also reported numerous arrests. Those arrested, and their charges, include:

•Christian Scott Gilreath, 23, Monticello—probation violation, Jasper County Magistrate Court bench warrant, windshield violation, driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to yield to emergency vehicle.

•Tony Edward Waldroup, 60, Monticello—battery.

•Martha Faye Holloway, 48, Newborn—battery.

•Joshua David Coker, 34, Covington—possession of methamphetamine and windshield violation.

•Mark Dewayne Digby, 36, Covington—probation violation.

•Earl Lee Bell, 50, Monticello—possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, reckless conduct and discharging a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Sherry Cleveland Goff, 55, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and open container.

*Darren Mitchell Greer, 50, Griffin: probation violation.

*Melissa League Harris, 35, Young Harris: possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and drugs not keep in original container.

*Joshua Dean Futch, 38, Bishop–possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, drugs not kept in original container, possession of marijuana less than 1 oz. and seat belt violation.

*Olivia Susan Cook, 36, Shady Dale: simple battery.

*Kayla Rose Pruett, 25, Monticello–possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, failure to maintain lane, possession and use of drug related objects and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

*Chance Gregory Coleman, 18, Monticello–seat belt violation and possession of alcohol by person under 21 years of age.

*James Phillip Hall, 45, McDonough–possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

*Jennifer Caroline Fitzmayer, 32, Hampton–driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

*Marie Shantel Edmondson, 27, Covington–driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

*Andrew Jackson Reid, 34, Monticello–failure to appear
