Many Are Sentenced In Court
Jarvis Lamar Carter of Monticello was sentenced to 10 years in confinement with 10 years of probation for two counts of armed robbery, merged into one, for a prior incident that occurred at A-1 Food Store. The sentence was rendered last week during Jasper Superior Court’s criminal trial session under the jurisdiction of Judge Alison Burleson.
Michael La’Malcom Johnson, sentenced to three years in confinement with seven years of probation for burglary in the first degree, theft by receiving stolen property, and obstruction of an officer, $1,000 fine.
Shane Dillon Griffith and Amanda Rose Dial, both sentenced to two years of confinement for two counts of child molestation each, $1,500 fine.

Erik Michael Trent, suspended sentence of 90-120 days in a state probation detention center in lieu of six years of probation for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and contributing to a minor, $1,500 fine.
