Few Cases Settled in Superior Court

Ocmulgee Circuit Judge Alison Burleson had a brief day in court Tuesday morning as more than half of the cases on docket were continued.

Ayla Marie Roseboom was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for time served since March 25 on two separate criminal cases with the sentences to run concurrent. One case reviewed by Judge Burleson involved one count each of identity fraud and theft by receiving stolen property, fine $500. The other case involved two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of identity fraud, fine $1,000.

The judge also allowed offender Rachel Martin 60 days to pay $500 of the court fines she is currently in arrears. If not paid with in that time further court action will be determined.

Judge Burleson also kept warrants in place for offenders Mara Davis and Stephen Wilkerson pending results of a drug test.

One legitimation case and one injunction case were also reviewed.
