Sheila Elizabeth Smith Phillips

Sheila Elizabeth Smith Phillips, age 49, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at her residence.

Sheila Phillips was born in Covington, GA, and moved to Monticello, four years ago. She worked as an ultrasound technician for a number of years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Ray Phillips of Monticello; parents, O’Neal and Judy Smith of Covington; daughters, Sherri (James) Becknell of Mansfield, and Kerri (Greg) Knight of Brooklet; grandchildren, Bryson Becknell, Camden Becknell, Karlee Becknell, Zakary Knight, Kenadie Knight, Alex Knight, and Nick Knight; and brother and sister, Jody Smith of Monticello, and Buffie Smith of Covington.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Interment will be held in Williams Payne Cemetery. Rev. Tim Walden will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jody Smith, Daniel Phillips, Alex Knight, Dwayne Phillips, Rodney Phillips, and Donnie Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, July 27, 2015, at Jordan Funeral Home.
