EAGLE SCOUT

Boy Scout Ian Boyd (center) of Troop #331 has earned his Eagle Scout Award recently. Eagle Scout is the highest rank a scout can earn in Boy Scouts. In order to earn Eagle a scout must earn 21 merit badges (11 of which are required), complete a service project and demonstrate leadership abilities. Ian is pictured with his parents Andrew and Becky Boyd of Monticello. Troop #331 is sponsored by the United Methodist Men of Monticello First UMC.
