Several Are Arrested

It was a relatively quiet Christmas week with Jasper County deputies only called to two incidences of theft in the last week.

In the first one, a boat was taken from an address in the south part of the county. Then, a burglary of unspecified description was reported on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Monticello.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Brandon Scott Perez, 17, Covington—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Melissa Ann Finger, 41, Mansfield—simple assault.

Contressa Lashunta Hendricks, 35, Atlanta—disorderly conduct.

•Teri Lynn Tyler, 59, Monticello—battery and probation violation.

•Stephen Cory White, 37, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

•Robert Eulis Grimsley, 39, Monticello—criminal trespass and public drunkenness.

•Calvin Neal Williams, Shady Dale—battery.

•Taneisha Brianna Ammons, 19, Monticello—battery.

•Norris Eugene Smith, 29, Monticello—no brake light working and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Ronnie Eugene Goolsby, 50, Monticello—public drunkenness.

•Courtney Sentrell Stembridge, 27, Union Point—driving while license suspended or revoked and tag light violation.

•Joseph Samuel Johnson, 17, Monticello—disorderly conduct.

•Audrey Denise Norwood, 48, Monticello—probation violation.

•Charles Fredrick Willis, 53, Monticello—failure to register as sex offender/failure to comply with requirements.

•Honda Jane Delee, 52, Monticello—maintaining a disorderly house.
