Mat Cougars Win at Home

A quartet of Piedmont Academy wrestlers posted wins during a home match last week.

Trent Coots, Logan Conner, Nolan Cleary and Ian Boyd each earned wins during a meet which featured Gatewood, John Milledge, Windsor and Community Christian. Corbin Burrell and Tanner Coppock were also able to compete for the Mat Cougars.

Piedmont is scheduled to compete at Windsor Academy in Macon today, Jan. 21. The wrestlers will then look to the upcoming region tournament on January 28 at Westfield in Perry.
