Thomas D. ‘Dooley’ Tillman

Thomas D. “Dooley” Tillman passed away on February 18, 2016.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 at Sunshine United Methodist Church, Round Oak, Ga. 31038 with the Rev. Tommy Martin officiating with burial following at the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunshine United Methodist Church/Cemetery Fund, c/o Andrea Crutchfield, 118 Jackson Rd., Round Oak, GA 31038, or Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Rd., Macon, GA 31210.

Mr. Dooley was predeceased in death by his parents, Albert and Lillie Tillman; brother, Leroy Tillman; son, Sam Tillman; and grandson, Blake Tillman. He was a member of Sincerity Lodge #430, Sunshine United Methodist Church, and was retired from the Georgia State Highway Department. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and eating at Little Beaver Camp House with all his hunting buddies and friends.

Mr. Dooley was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 63 years, Louneal “Pete” Tillman; and was also survived by his son, Randy Tillman (Nancy); grandsons, Bryan Tillman (Erika) and Derek Tillman; brother-In-law, Cliff Jackson; sister-in-law, Mary Lois Jackson; several nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends.
