Several Are Arrested Here

Jasper County deputies had a relatively slow week, with only three incidents to report.

They were called to a report of shoplifting at Suzie Q’s on Hwy. 11 north in Jasper County last week. In another case concerning a store, apparently a shopper left her wallet at the Dollar General and it was gone when she returned for it.

Also, in an incident on Burney Drive in Monticello, a resident reported the theft of a window air conditioning unit and a tire on the rim.

Persons arrested in the last week include:

•Neil Alan Wolf, 49, Newborn—possession of methamphetamine.

•Rodney Wayne Newton, 42, Covington—disorderly conduct.

•Olivia Northeas Jackson, 28, Monticello—probation violation, giving false name or address to law enforcement officer and driving without a license.

•Shirley Wise Benton, 56, Monticello—failure to appear bench warrant.

•Michael Derek Hopkins, 26, Monticello—probation violation.

•Kassi Jane Schiller, 31, Vidalia— pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs and open container.

•Ramon Arturo Jackson, 39, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence alcohol or drugs.

•Glenda Niquitta Culp, 35, Monticello—theft by shoplifting.

•Vernon Richard Walker, 20, Monticello—criminal trespass.

•Kasey Nicole York, 25, Eatonton—probation violation.

•Moki Nakoma Elsasser, 37, Monticello—hold for warrant in Dooly Co.
