Lady Cougar Soccer Ties

Despite having to knock the rust off after spring break, the Piedmont Academy Lady Cougars varsity soccer team played well Tuesday earning a 2-2 tie against John Milledge Academy on the road.

“Coming back from spring break is always hard,” coach Zach Norris said. “The girls played well. I liked the energy we played with.”

Haley Tyler and Amelia Dodson scored goals for Piedmont.

While the varsity boys fell 6-0 to John Milledge, Norris said some tough goals went against the Cougars.

“The boys had fun and played hard so we will just move on and prepare to face Monsignor Donovan Thursday,” Norris said.

Piedmont travels to Monsignor Donovan Thursday (today) with varsity matches beginning at 5 p.m.
