Thefts Are Reported
Several incidents of theft were reported to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office in the last week, including the theft of a 60” television from an address on Midway Church Road, and the theft of a generator on Bobby Mattison Road. Both those incidents were reported last Wednesday.
On Friday, deputies were called to an address on Five Points Road, which they determined there was an attempted burglary. A resident also reported the theft or loss of mislaid property, after a billfold was mislaid and the money taken from it. A clerk at Circle K alerted deputies to some possible counterfeit bills, and a gun was reported taken from an address on Kirk Lane.
Also, at an address on Bear Creek Point, a number of items were reported stolen between last September 15, and April 25. Items missing included jewelry, a GPS unit, and a tens unit. Also, gas was stolen from a gas can at that address on May 1.

•John Bryon Reinhart, 29, Athens—purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution/or sale of marijuana, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and failure to maintain lane.
•Jordan Nicole Inscore, 25, Hampton—false report of a crime.
•Rasheed Chavez Tripp, 23, Monticello—purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution or sale of marijuana.
•David Lamar Mitchell, 51, Atlanta—probation violation.
•Joe William Ellis, 44, Monticello—public indecency.
•Jose Heriberto Palacios, 25, Lilburn—speeding and driving while unlicensed.
•William Hendy Raby, 61, Eatonton—probation violation.
•Vance Obrian Coleman, 41, Hillsboro—obstruction of a law enforcement officer and terroristic threats and acts.
•David Shane Ward, 23, Monticello—theft by taking.
•Jonathan Robert Martyne, 31, Monticello—cruelty to children and battery.
•Saadiq Green, 25, Hawthorne—driving while license suspended or revoked and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
