Mrs. Louise Dudley Fears

Mrs. Louise Dudley Fears, age 69, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 5777 Perimeter Road, Monticello, GA 31064. A private interment will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Louise Dudley Fears was born February 28, 1947 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Lee (Joe) and Mary J. Lestena Dudley, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Albert Dudley, two sisters, Odessa D. Richard and Elizabeth D. Evans Chatman and one grandson, Demontae Fears.

She married Marvin Lee Fears on April 28, 1979 and together they raised four children, Dionne, Demond, Daphne and Donna.

Mrs. Fears received her education in the Jasper County School System and her secondary education from Macon Tech (Business Education) and Griffin Tech (Spanish).

She was employed at the Monticello Manufacturing Company, Hughes Spaulding Hospital (Medical Records Department) and with the Jasper County School System, where she retired in 2005.

Mrs. Fears dedicated her life and symbolized it by water baptism as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on June 26, 1976. She devoted her life to sharing the Bible’s hope for the future with interested ones as a regular pioneer until her death on June 11, 2016. In addition to her faithful services, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, the love of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin Fears, four children, Dionne Fears Johnigan (Dexter), Demond Fears (Patricia), Daphne Fears Askew and Donna Fears Brown (Dwayne). She also leaves five grandchildren, Brionna Johnigan, Brandon Johnigan, Natia Fears, Morgan Askew, and Tyler Brown, one sister, Tinia D. Gude (Nathaniel), two brothers, Johnny Dudley and Joe Lee Dudley (Geneva). She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her spiritual brothers and sisters in Jehovah’s organization.
