Grand Jury Returns 32 Indictments

A Jasper County Grand Jury reconvened June 30 to review criminal presentments from the February 2016 term.

A total of 34 bills of indictment were reviewed with 32 of those being true billed. The Grand Jury of 20 completed the following actions last Thursday:

Gabriel Richards, indicted on 11 counts including reckless driving, failure to stop at stop sign, no proof of insurance, driving while under the influence, two counts of possession of marijuana, failure to maintain lane, crossing the guard line with contraband, tampering with evidence, obstruction of an officer, and impeding traffic flow.

Heather Marie Johnson, indicted on 11 counts including three counts of possession of a controlled substance by inmate, two counts of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute, three counts of crossing the guard line with contraband, two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and tampering with evidence.

Valerie Sanders, indicted on six counts including possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of hydrocodone, possession of drug related objects, tampering with evidence, and obstruction of an officer.

Desi Jamar Appling, indicted on six counts including three counts of sale of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and forgery in the first degree.

Kenneth Thurman, indicted on six counts including two counts of burglary in the first degree, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, obstruction of an officer, and public drunkenness.

Gary Locklear, indicted on five counts including three counts of obstruction of an officer and two counts of disorderly conduct.

Stephanie White, indicted on five counts including three counts of possession of firearm by first offender probationer, sale of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Damien Gotel, indicted on five counts including two counts of obstruction of an officer, failure to stop at stop sign, driving while license suspended, and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

Chandler Donaldson, indicted on four counts including crossing the guard line with contraband, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, tampering with evidence, and possession of drug related objects.

William Lee Clifton, indicted on four counts including two counts of escape, theft by taking, and sale of methamphetamine.

Annie Belle Gay, indicted on three counts including possession of methamphetamine, crossing the guard line with contraband, and possession of drug related objects.

William Hendrix, indicted on three counts of obstruction of an officer.

Louie Daly and Shenna Sego, indicted on three counts including possession of a schedule IV controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug related objects.

Chad Jeffrey, indicted on three counts including criminal attempt to commit a felony, obscene internet contact with a child, and computer pornography.

Chassidy Pendergrass, indicted on three counts of sale of methamphetamine.

Robert Allen Pope and James Robert Lackey, indicted on two counts including burglary in the first degree and burglary in the second degree.

Paul Magness, indicted on two counts including criminal attempt to commit a felony and obscene internet contact with a child.

David Jalbert, indicted on two counts including computer pornography and obscene internet contact with a child.

Randy Eugene Deagle, indicted on two counts including burglary in second degree and theft by taking.

Addonai Bautista, indicted on two counts including child molestation and sexual exploitation of children.

Sherry Dale Braley, indicted on two counts of theft by taking.

Richard Kevin Hill, indicted for theft by receiving stolen property.

John Wood, indicted on sale of marijuana.

Marchinlo Wyman, indicted on sale of cocaine.

Caleb Vinson, indicted on sale of marijuana.

Ashley Smith, indicted on sale of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Brandon Sharad Ross, indicted on sale of schedule I controlled substance.

Shawn Richard Griffith, indicted on illegal use of communication facility.

Moki Elsasser, indicted for aggravated assault.

Carol Ann Conn, indicted on sale of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Valeria Cannon, indicted for distribution of methamphetamine.

Derrick Campbell, indicted for sale of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Andrea Barkley, indicted on sale of cocaine.

Also, Terrance Bostic and Ashton Cleveland were not indicted for sale of marijuana
