Arrests Are Made

Jasper County deputies were called to several reports of theft in the last week.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to an address on Pitts Chapel Road in Newborn where someone entered an auto and took a chain saw, rope, climbing belt and climbing spikes. On Monday, deputies were called to a theft by taking on Dolly Drive in Monticello.

Between Saturday and Monday, someone allegedly entered an auto on Falcon Circle and took a propress machine, cast iron chain cutters, and a Rigid line locate.

Wedding bands were taken from an address on Whispering Pines Way in Newborn. In addition, on Saturday, a burglary was reported on Smith Street in Monticello, where $500 cash was taken.

Lastly, deputies responded to the theft of a metal sign from an address on Harvey Lane Road in Monticello.

Also during the last week, numerous arrests were reported. Those arrested and their charges include:

•Brandon Lee Thompson, 20, Monticello—probation violation.

•Charles Lee Victrum, Jr., 45, Shady Dale—child support bench warrant.

•Jessica Ann Stearns, 31, Stockbridge—probation violation.

•Raymond Richard Chil-ders, 55, Monticello—battery.

•Rodney Wayne Newton, 43, Covington—Magistrate Court bench warrant.

•Austin Taylor Hubbard, 24, McDonough—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while license suspended or revoked, open container of alcohol and failure to maintain lane.

•Deidra Colette Pope, 44, Barnesville—disorderly conduct.

•Daniel David Fell, 46, Athens—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Christian Blair Mason, 28, Mansfield—probation violation (two counts), possession of methamphetamine, false statements and writings (two counts), possession of Schedule IV controlled substance.

•Rocky Eugene Delee, 25, Monticello—possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.

•Cayla Julene Sorrells, 23, Mansfield—possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.

•Christian Amos Webb, 25, Macon—possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.

•Sarah Whitney Hill, 23, Riverdale—hold for warrant in Whitfield Co.

•Bruce Terrill Berryman, 51, Mansfield—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Edward Brady Clark Medina, 21, Mansfield—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
