Coyle Wilson, Jr.

Coyle Wilson, Jr. was born on May 16, 1922 in Monticello, and passed away peacefully on September 24, 2016.

After graduation from high school he joined the Navy. He then used his G. I. Bill to attend the University of Georgia. He furthered his education by obtaining his Master’s Degree at Vanderbilt University. Coyle was employed by the Atlanta Public School System as teacher and coach and after working for them for 30 years, retired.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Henrietta Wilson; son, Mike and Joan Wilson of Hampton; daughter, Holly and Felix Barton of Cumming; grandchildren, Jeff and Jen Wilson; Allan and Ginger Farr; Chase and Zack Barton; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016 at 2 p.m. at H.M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel; 173 Allen Rd. Sandy Springs, GA 30028 Phone 404 851-9900. Visitation will be on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
