Basketball Teams Scrimmage

The Hurricane basketball season will tip off with a scrimmage Friday, Nov. 11 as hosts to Clarkston beginning at 6 p.m.

The Lady Canes will be led by head coach Shakeira Middlebrooks for the second consecutive year and assisted by John Hopper and Traci Glawson.

The varsity squad includes

Madison Abbott, Mackenzie Abbott, Emily Cavender, Kennethia Hayes, Mia Jenkins, Lacey Rutledge, Mekia Taylor, India Thomas, Jaydin Thomas, Jameecia Thurman, Alicia Tripp, Mackenzie Tripp, Makya West, Alyssa Wilson. Ella Noonan and Sakya Dennis are team managers.

William “B.J.” Thomas returns to coach the varsity boys for whom a complete roster has not been named due to an extended football season.
