Betty Ann Limbough Mize

Betty Ann Limbough Mize, age 76, of Monticello, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at her residence.

Betty Mize was born in Sylacauga, Ala., to the late Luther Henry Limbough and Dorothy Smith Limbough. After marrying Larry Mize in December of 1962, she moved to Georgia where she lived until moving to West Monroe, La. in 1991. They returned to Jasper County in 2003.

She was a wife, mother and homemaker. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Limbough; and sister, Shirley Limbough.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Eugene Mize of Monticello; daughter, Sonda Brown of Mansfield; son, Mitchell (Jamie) Mize of Monticello; grandchildren, Mason Mize, Brent Brown, Jessica Robertson and Stephanie Curtis; and great-grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Baylee Pace, Jordan Pace, Cam Robertson, Cade Robertson, Eli Curtis, Kaitlyn Shelton, Brensleigh Jade Brown and Ellie Brown.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at the Tabernacle of Praise in Mansfield, Ga. Rev. Daniel Hall and Rev. Roger Hall will officiate.
