ART & TALENT SHOW

The Monticello Kiwanis Club will host an art and talent showcase this Friday, March 17. The event featuring the creative work of children in grades K-12 will start at 6 p.m. in the Jasper County High School auditorium, 14477 Hwy. 11 North.

Artwork will be on display, and trophies will be awarded to the top three winners of the talent show in three divisions, K-5, 6-8 and 9-12. The top art and musical winners in the high school division will get an opportunity to compete at the state competition for up to $3,500 in college scholarships.

Admission is $8/adult and $5/child, and all proceeds will go to support children in Jasper County. The picture is of last year’s winning artwork by Nataleigh Long.
