Sandra Lee Davis Brown
Sandra Lee Davis Brown, age 69, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia after a lengthy illness.
Sandra Brown was a lifelong resident of Jasper County. Her parents were the late Ray Davis and Shirley Cunard Davis. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Anthony Brown, Sr.; and sister, Donna Rae Davis Mitchem.
Sandra retired from Dexter Axle and worked as a hairdresser for many years. She was an active member of Hillsboro Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. She loved to hunt, fish, go primitive camping, crochet and arrange flowers for the church. Sandra was a member of the Busy Bees and Project Linus; and SASH – the artist craft group. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Angela Michelle Barrett of Oxford, Tonia Ann Brown of Chickamagua, William Ray (Lara) Perry of Monticello, David Anthony, Jr. (Amanda) Brown of Gray and Benjamin Lee (Belle) Perry of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Randall Barrett, Ryan Barrett, Kim Barrett, Kayla Brown, Camden Brown, Marie Perry, Smith Perry, Lillie Belle Perry, Aiden Brown, Davis Perry and Nathan Perry; great-grandchildren, Brantleigh and Hunter; and sister, Lisa Davis Batchelor of Monticello.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Hillsboro Baptist Church. Interment will be held in Fullerton Memorial Gardens. Rev. Anthony Brown, Jr. and Rev. John McDuffie will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jody Mitchem, Wes Mitchem, Robbie Batchelor, Paul Batchelor, Ricky Carrol and Todd Kimble.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Jordan Funeral Home.
