Two Charged with Computer Pornography

Two persons were arrested and charged with criminal attempt to commit a felony and violation of computer pornography and child exploitation prevention act Monday.

Ryan Patrick Orourke, 24, of Duluth faces those charges as does Omid Kamali, 28, of Roswell who also is charged with prostitution. They were arrested Monday evening by officers with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO).

Also on Monday, deputies investigated a report of burglary on Hwy. 11 south in Monticello. They also responded to two other reports of burglary in the last week…one on Davis Road, where drugs were reportedly taken, and another on Nuthatch where the perpetrator was caught and arrested. David Allan Hicks, 34, of Monticello is charged with burglary in the first degree.

Other persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Roderick Deon Dumas, 30, Monticello — Jasper County Probate Court failure to appear.

•Torri Leah McCart, 34, Covington—dangerous drugs (two counts), drugs not in original container and possession of Schedule IV controlled substance (three counts).

•Bernard Ellison, 57, Lithonia—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, open container and seat belt violation.

•Jaquatia Lucinda Butts, 18, Covington—Jasper County Probate Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Tommie Lee Dunn, 52, Monticello—probation violation.

•Dustin Jerome Pittman, 31, Milton—Jasper County Magistrate Court failure to appear bench warrant.

•Douglas Clayton Martz, 54, Madison—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding.

•Jonathan Robert Martyne, 32, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs tail light violation.

•William Danny Crumbley, 36, Monticello—failure to appear for Jasper County Superior Court.
