Betty Jean Gilmore Coulter
Betty Jean Gilmore Coulter went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial service will be held at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel at 4 p.m., on Sunday, July 30, 2017, with Julie King officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at 3 p.m. Donations may be made to Sonrise Ministries, Jones County Outreach Center, 3378 Gray Hwy, Gray, GA 31032.
Betty was predeceased in death by her husband, Wayne Coulter; son, John Touhy; parents, John and Grace Gilmore; and brother, James Gilmore.
Betty loved traveling to her cabin in the mountains and enjoyed flower arranging. Betty was the owner of Old Clinton Barbecue and This Old House, where she met and served many people in the community. Betty had a strong love and bond for her family and friends and was loved by many.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Wilcox (Charlie Joe) of Waynesville, GA; sons, Ronald “David” Michaud (Angie) of Gray, GA; Robert “Bobby” Michaud (Marletta) of Gray, GA; sister, Pat Willis of Gray, GA; nieces, Angie Stapp (Cody) of Gray, GA; Cathy Gilmore of Monticello, GA; grandchildren, Brandy; Candi; Ashley; Stephen; Christopher; Jessi; Amber; Scott; Brandon; Jace; seven great-grandchildren.
