Annie Pearl Benton

A celebration of life for Mrs. Annie Pearl Benton will be held Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 at 1 p.m.at Shiloh Baptist Church, 236 Martin Lane in Shady Dale. Repast at Shiloh Baptist Church annex.

On Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, it pleased The Almighty God to call Annie Pearl Benton to her resting home.

Mrs. Annie Pearl Benton, the daughter of the late Isiah Brooks and the late Rebecca (Ross) Brooks was born on October 25, 1932 in Jasper County.

Annie married the late Sellie Benton in Providence R.I. on December 3, 1959. She retired from The Providence Metalizing Company in 1995.

Left to cherish her memory are three daughters: Renay Omisore of Providence, RI., Denise Brooks of Pawtucket, R.I., and Sherl Uzuriaga of Harlem, GA. three sons: Howard Benton and Jarrett Benton of Providence, R.I. and Sellous Benton of Hyde Park, MA;17 grandchildren and11 great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She will be missed. Her final resting place will be Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery Newborn.
